Volunteer Connection

As part of a corporate wellness program, companies can partner with Charity Connect to help their employees find volunteer opportunities that fit with their interests and schedules. We offer engaging presentations on how to incorporate meaningful volunteering into your life. We can meet individually with employees to facilitate volunteerism.

Shrimp and Grits launched a buy one give one duffle bag sale, collected toiletries and stuffed animals and donated clothing for children in foster care in Charleston, SC. "I reached out to Charity Connect wanting to find a charity that would fit my business and my family. After speaking with Cristin about my intentions, she reached out to several charities local to me and discussed options until we found the right fit, Lower County Orphan Relief Center. Cristin also involved one of her DC nonprofit contacts, Comfort Cases, to use their model of giving for our project. Together we developed a plan to involve my clients and my daughters to provide Comfort Cases for the foster children of Charleston, SC. It has been a wonderful project providing opportunity for my business and customers to meaningfully give and my daughters to be leaders in their community. Cristin was an absolute joy to work with and I wholeheartedly recommend Charity Connect to anyone looking for a way to make a difference in the world!" -Megan Hewitt, Owner of Shrimp and Grits Kids
